ZTP Studio is an Evanston based firm dedicated to the art of design and construction. We work collaboratively with clients to produce creative and cost effective solutions that contribute to a thriving environmental fabric. With an intimate knowledge of materials and construction techniques, ZTP Studio works in concert with owners, regulatory bodies, and contractors to ensure that projects are built as they were envisioned. ​Zafiro Papastratakos, the principal, is deeply committed to creating ecologically sensitive settings for living, working, and playing. She designs spaces that encourage people to talk to strangers, evolve as neighbors, and find joy in visiting regularly. Zafiro's advocacy for all natural homes includes her role as co-author of a reference book, currently being written by Lou Host-Jablonski, on Light Straw Clay construction with 2x6 framing.
